Sometimes I feel when I post things online here, I need to have something extraordinary with a million steps and ingredients or something that comes with a big story behind it. But, although I do enjoy the occasional decedent treat, complicated just isn't me. I like simple things whether it comes to foods, clothes, home decor. . . . I don't feel the need to cluster up things just because it popular.
So I let R. loose at the grocery store last night without supervision and told him that it was his night to cook dinner. However while at work, I snacked all day long so by the time I got home I wasn't hungry. I didn't do it intentionally though!! Sometimes it's hard working in a pastry kitchen!! Sometimes will power just isn't enough!! Sometimes I just need someone to slap me upside the head everytime I pop something into my mouth!! So tonight I decided to 'help' him with dinner but in a unobtrusive kinda way. So super easy baked potatoes are going to be my contribution, however I never seem to be able to achieve that exact baked potato perfection I'm striving for. So I actually googled the 'recipe' for baked potatoes, I know pathetic eh? And although it seems real easy and simple, I'm sure I'm bound to mess it up!!
